Eager to expand her expertise beyond barbering, Susie continued her education several years into her career by studying hair color and salon techniques at a salon in Clearwater, Florida. This additional training allowed her to broaden her services and work confidently with both men’s and women’s hair. By combining barbering precision with salon artistry, she developed a well-rounded skill set that enables her to create customized looks tailored to each client’s individual style, hair type, and lifestyle.

In November 2017, Susie took the next step in her professional journey by opening Ladies & Gents Salon & Barbershop. Her vision was to create a space where traditional barbering and modern salon services could come together under one roof, offering exceptional service in a stylish, welcoming environment. Since opening the salon, she has remained committed to helping clients feel confident, comfortable, and cared for while continuing to grow alongside her team and community.

While Susie is experienced in a wide range of haircutting, styling, and color services, her greatest passion remains men’s hair. She especially enjoys creating clean fades, detailed cuts, and barber-focused styles that showcase precision and craftsmanship. At the same time, she loves working with women’s hair and color services, allowing her creativity and versatility to shine through every appointment.
